Simpson Cove and Grantham Point, adjacent to Palm Island Park, features the only inland freshwater lighthouse in Florida. Gilbert Park provides a picturesque view as well as a public boat ramp while Evans Park is the site of an annual lawn-bowling tournament in which championship-level lawn bowlers compete. Donnelly Park has graced the center town since 1924 and throughout the year hosts free concerts and events.
