As the "The Winter Strawberry Capital of the World," Plant City is famous for the annual Florida Strawberry Festival and bountiful harvests of strawberry crops. It's also home to the world's largest strawberry shortcake, measuring 827 square feet and weighing over 6,000 lbs. pounds, this cake was lovingly made by over 300 volunteers.
