This year’s event celebrated the Chamber’s previous year’s accomplishments, presented Chamber awards, including Small & Large Business of the Year, an induction ceremony of the 2018-2019 Chairman of the Board and the Board of Directors, as well as recognition of the new Honorary Governor of West Pasco and more! The 21st annual “Honorary Governor of West Pasco” competi- tion, sponsored by the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce, is an amazing fundraising effort for WPCC and the charities chosen by the three candidates campaigning for the“HonoraryGovernorship”. Kayla Kuni representedGood Samaritan, JohnGaston represented PepinAcademies of PascoCounty andSteve Schurdell represented CARES - Community Aging and Retirement Services. All three candidates were recognized at the 74thnd Annual WPCC Awards Banquet on June 15, 2018, with Steve Schurdell being recognized as the winner. Thank you to all three candidates for sponsoring such an amazing campaign and fundraising events to support their charities.
