These communities include Belleair Beach, Belleair Bluffs,Belleair Shore, Clearwater Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, Madeira Beach, North Redington Beach, Redington Beach, Redington Shores, St. Pete Beach, Tierra Verde and Treasure Island. The Tampa Bay Beaches combine the best of all possible worlds! These communities are conveniently located near the major cities of Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater affording easy access to jobs, healthcare and educational opportunities along with shopping, and recreational activities. Yet they also provide the neighborliness of a small town and quiet seaside living for families and retirees alike.

CLEARWATER BEACH • At the northern tip of this peninsula lies Clearwater Beach. It has been rated the best city beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Two of its major attractions are Pier 60 and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

BELLEAIR BEACH • This upscale residential community offers a relaxed atmosphere. Belleair Beach has preserved one of the last strictly residential beach neighborhoods in Pinellas County. This community offers public tennis courts, a basketball court, boat ramp, municipal marina and several parks.

BELLEAIR SHORE • This town is unique in several ways. With only fifty-five homes it could be the smallest town in Florida. Because Belleair Shore is 100% residential, having no commercial enterprises, it offers peace and quiet and an opportunity to really "soak up" the natural beauty of the beach.

BELLEAIR BLUFFS • This small yet diversified community provides many residential, commercial and recreational choices. From single-family homes to condos and apartments, all types of shops and, a soon-to-be completed community center, Belleair Bluffs has big-city amenities in a small-town locale.

INDIAN ROCKS BEACH • Developed in the 1920’s as a weekend getaway for wealthy mainland residents, is now a thriving city. It has a public library, historical museum, several parks and well-known restaurants. Residents can enjoy numerous activities, including the annual Oktoberfest.

INDIAN SHORES • This community offers something for everyone - from Bingo and exercise classes to tennis courts and fine dining. Residents can rent the city auditorium or pavilion for private functions. Indian Shores is home to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, the largest non-profit wild bird hospital in the United States.

REDINGTON SHORES • As a mid-point between Clearwater and St. Pete Beach, Redington Shores is conveniently located. The town offers a variety of home choices, businesses to fill every need and many recreational activities. Fisherman can try their luck with the "catch of the day" at the poplar Redington Long Pier.

NORTH REDINGTON BEACH • This community offers the lowest property tax rate in the county. Yet North Redington Beach provides many services and amenities, including playgrounds, tennis courts, beach accesses, shops and restaurants. Housing ranges from luxury condominiums to modest single-family homes and apartments.

REDINGTON BEACH • This town offers recreational parks, "triangle" parks abundant with native plant life and beach access points. The local Garden Club and Property Owners Association hosts many activities throughout the year. Redington Beach is also home to The Tides Beach Club, once a world-famous resort and now a 214-unit beachfront condominium.

MADEIRA BEACH • Home to Johns Pass Village with restaurants, shops and a boardwalk, Madeira Beach offers a laid-back atmosphere and excellent public services. The recreation department provides after-school and summer programs for children as well as youth and adult team sports. The town also boasts an elementary and middle school, a library and a municipal marina.

TREASURE ISLAND • Residents of this community have an assortment of activities to choose from. Tennis, fishing, boating, aerobics and cheerleading are just a few that appeal to people of all ages. Rosselli Park and Sunset Beach are two local spots that offer many recreational opportunities, from swimming and picnicking to shuffleboard and basketball. There are also numerous restaurants to choose from.

ST. PETE BEACH • This community is replete with restaurants, art galleries and quaint neighborhoods. The world-famous Don CeSar Beach Resort sits near the southern end of St. Pete Beach close to Pass-A-Grille. The Corey Avenue Shopping District is a must for "shopaholics" and the Beach Theatre offering independent and foreign films attracts scores of movie buffs.

TIERRA VERDE • Site of award-winning Fort DeSoto Park with its camping, picnicking and swimming as well as the ruins of the old fort, Tierra Verde was also home to Native Americans and pirates at one time. Because of its easy access to I-275 via the Pinellas Bayway, the community is ideal for residents commuting to jobs in St. Petersburg, Tampa and Sarasota.
