CHAMBER COMMITTEES
Participation on Chamber committees is a great
way to network your business while giving back to
the community. There’s an offering sure to satisfy
every interest.
• Ambassadors Committee − Dynamic team of
business representatives who meet and contact
Chamber members to educate and involve them
in organization activities; provide leadership and
staff with membership feedback; and participate
in Chamber events
• Economic Development Committee −
Works in partnership with city, county and state
representatives on business growth/retention
strategies and programs supporting business
advancement. Also coordinates the Business
Visitation and Focus on Tampa Bay Economic
Forecast programs.
• Government Advocacy Panel (GAP) −
Addresses issues that can have a positive
influence on business and on those that can be
costly and unfriendly. It provides communication
channels between business and government and
provides education and advocacy on the priorities
of the membership to the proper government body.
• Membership Development − Develops and
implements membership growth and retention
strategies through campaigns and membership
value “ROI” programs and initiatives.
• Women’s Leadership Committee − Plans seminar
series focused on women’s business issues, Women
In Business After Hours & Expo and annual Inspire
